Special trains during sabarimala season

South Western Railway (SWR) today announced estension of tri-weekly express specials between Kochuveli-Bangalore City-Kochuveli upto January 2013 to clear extra rush during ensuing Sabarimala festival and winter season. Train No 06316 Kochuveli-Bangalore will depart at Kochuveli at 1630 hrs on Sundays, Mondays, Fridays, commencing from November 2 and arrive at Banglaore City 1000 hrs the next day. The last special from Kochuveli is on January 28, according to a SWR release here. In the return direction, Train No 06315 Bangalore City- Kochuveli will depart at Bangalore at 1715 hrs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Saturdays, commencing from November 3 and arrive at Kochuveli at 0925 hrs the next day. The last special from Bangalore City end is on January 29, 2013. Consequently, Train No12684 Bangalore-Ernakulam Bi-Weekly Express and Train No.22608 Bangalore-Ernakulam Weekly Express will depart Bangalore City station at 1850 hrs instead of 1715 hrs and arrive Ernakulam Station at 0610 hrs instead of 0415 hrs. Also Train No 16321 Bangalore City-Trivandrum Weekly Express will depart Bangalore station at 1715 hrs instead of 1850 hrs and arrive at Thiruvananthapuram at 1030 hrs instead of 1110 hrs.
